New York paid leave — New York Paid Family Leave (PFL): New York's PFL provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for bonding with a new child at 67% of your average weekly wage, up to approximately 67% of the statewide average weekly wage (~$1,177/week in 2025). Funded by employee payroll deductions. Applies to most employers. Job protection included. Note: NY also has statutory short-term disability that covers the birthing parent's physical recovery separately.
